Trina Wilmot

Trina is a descendant of the Kokatha people in South Australia.

Trina moved to East Gippsland in 1979. In 1999, Trina graduated from the Koori Art and Design course.

Trina’s work reflects her personality and is bold and accomplished, incorporating distinctive Indigenous designs and markings and often unexpected colours. She has exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria, EGAAC, the Koorie Heritage Trust, Bunjilaka at the Melbourne Museum and the Australian Print Making Workshop. A series of her work is on permanent display in the Bairnsdale Koori Court.

Trina is a popular art teacher and workshop facilitator currently living in Marlo in Far East Gippsland.
