Rachel Mullett
My name is Rachel Mullett, I am a Monero/Gunai women, I was born in Berry N.S.W. but have lived in Gippsland most of my life. I am married and mother of 8 children, with 17 grandchildren.
My mother taught me to draw with charcoal from our camp fire and on the clean swept earth around us. Art connects me to the land, to my respected culture and the spirits of my people, it is always a privilege for me to have known, lived and worked with my Elders who are no longer with us.
